This unique “Canarian” house with all its rustic charms sits in a commanding location with panoramic views south to the sea and island of Fuerteventura. A private drive leads to Casa Tanau which is set in its own mature gardens. Wooden beams and thick stone walls add to the traditional feel of the property. The majority of the rooms open out to a private sun terrace with a pergola dressed in a beautiful pink bougainvillea, an ideal area for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun. The popular marina of Puerto Calero with its selection of shops restaurants and bars is just a five-minute drive away.
There is a rustic style spacious fitted kitchen with wooden units, electric oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, American style fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
The villa also has a spacious lounge with large sofas and a comfortable armchair, flat screen wall mounted satellite TV, DVD player, music system and steps down to a separate reading area. This room is complemented with traditional beams and a door to the terrace. Adjacent to the lounge is the dining room with large wooden table and door to the patio.
Casa Tanau has four bedrooms, two of which are twins, the other two of which are master doubles, both containing their own ensuite bathrooms. The two twin bedrooms share one large family bathroom

This is an ideal area for relaxing in the sun and enjoying the uninterrupted sea and mounted views. Steps lead down to the pool terrace which is gated. The attractive pool is surrounded by boarder hedges and sunbeds. Three steps up lead to a further pergola shaded area. The views are exceptional. A portable BBQ is provided for dining al fresco.

So you are in close proximity to all the amenities you could want but still able to enjoy both the tranquility of the countryside and the incredible views down to the coast and across to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. Macher is also centrally located, granting easy access to some of the island’s greatest natural attractions such as the Volcano Park at Timanfaya, as well as the more man-made, such as the delightful marina at Puerto Calero, just a 5 minute drive away.
