Summary: We were very pleased with aspects of our stay, the apartment was clean and bright, next to the sea and was comfortable and generally well equipped. However the shower was not hot and had to run for around 10 minutes before reaching its maximum, inadequate temperature. I was also disappointed to be asked for an 80 euro deposit for keys, one of which was electronic and didn't work. We were not warned this would be the case and it seems excessive. On the day we arrived I received an email telling me to expect an Expedia charge on my credit card to pay the rental. I had paid the rental several months previously and had no dealings with Expedia. I contacted the owners, but received no reply, explanation or apology although the additional charge never appeared on my credit card account. Finally, virtually every day for a week prior to arrival, I received email requests to register electronically. I would have been happy to do this, but the link didn't work, despite trying to use it several times. Again I contacted the owners/agents but never received a reply. We found the on-site, part-time staff polite and helpful, the problem seemed to lie with the owners or whoever deals with emails and other electronic communications on their behalf.
