This typical Spanish holiday home with private pool is located in a protected natural area of the Sierra de Tejeda y Almijaras, away from any hustle and bustle and traffic, on a hill with spectacular views of the mountains, valley and Mediterranean. The small Moorish village of Alcausin is nearby. Behind the house begins a walking route to the national park, where you can find various hiking and mountain biking routes, as well as climbing the highest mountain in the region, Maroma. Shopping is available in Alcausin, and the village is also accessible via footpaths. The location is particularly ideal for those seeking rest and tranquillity, surrounded by beautiful nature and diverse flora and fauna, yet only a short distance from the Costa del Sol and the nearby hinterland. The garden is well laid out, with fruit trees and other plants all around the house. There's plenty of privacy and you'll find both shade and sun thanks to the various terraces. A nice feature of the pool is that the shallow end is a place where you can sit with your feet in the water while enjoying a refreshing dip. The pool is heated (weather permitting) from mid-November to May. CAUTION: the last 1.5 km towards the house are steep. This path is perfectly passable, but care should be taken, especially in the dark. For this reason, the route is suitable for people with good driving experience. If you drive the car in first gear, you won't have any problems.
