Positive: The absolutely huge pool and the close proximity to the beach, supermarket and tram station for trips out for the day. WiFi in the apartment although we didn't realise until about 6 days into our stay! The washing machine used everyday. The air conditioning worked very well.

Negative: I knew the apartment was split level when I booked but upon entering the living area is very small. The crawl space that is the "upstairs" has pieces of foam as mattresses on the floor. The sheets were clean but the blanket & cushions we were given to sleep with were not. I washed the cushions myself! The steps up to the "upstairs" are more like a ladder and the rail a flimsy piece of wood. Think of this as like a large bunk bed, suitable for children of age 7-11 or older if not tall (my 13 year old kept banging her head). I would be concerned younger children would fall off the ladder. The other issues we had were: the kettle didn't work (we boiled water on the stove top which did work well). There is nothing holding the shower head on the wall so you have to hold it over your head. We couldn't lock the window in the bedroom so someone could easily get in from this side of the building. One of the folding chairs in the living space collapsed whilst my husband was sat on it (he is not overweight). The air conditioning unit drips on your head while you are sat on the sofa. We found a dead cockroach (can be an issue anywhere & didn't see any others in apartment). The smell from every drain in the apartment, it back flows from the drains & smells of sewage as there are no traps in any of the drains (think this is common practice in Spain).

Summary: Lovely holiday but apartment needs some TLC.
