The apartment Gecko is located in the residential complex San Miguel in Tazacorte, in a very convenient location, not far from the bus, sea, supermarket etc. The apartment is bright and friendly, is modern and very complete furnished / equiped. From the balcony (towards the west) there are the most beautiful sunsets to enjoy. A car is not absolutely necessary in Tazacorte, but if you have one, parking spaces are available near the apartment. Tazacorte is an excellent starting point for the activities for which La Palma is known.
In the lower part of Tazacorte we find the sports and fishing port, as well as the longest sandy beach of La Palma, with many leisure options, restaurants and shops. However, Tazacorte is not overcrowded with tourists! Only in the summer months when Spanish and foreign tourists are here at the same time does the beach get a little crowded at times. Even then, it is not comparable to the abundance of other Spanish seaside resorts. But there is not only a beach in "Tazacorte Puerto". The pebble beach in La Bombilla, the sandy beach of Los Guirres, El Roque or El Charcón are also highly recommended and in any case not very frequented by tourists.
