It is located in a unique setting of peace and tranquility, with the aroma of orange blossom and the glow of sweet sunsets. The house has been decorated with the affectionate contributions of those who were inspired by such a place, lovers of nature and the sea.
House and environment restored and enabled for the enjoyment of natural landscape and rural tourism enthusiasts, with a history of more than a century.
The house originally belonged to some Portuguese, then passed to Lucila Hernández, another emigrant from the Spanish civil war and was finally acquired by the Monteverde family. In his honor, he named his house "Aunt Lucila."
Its exterior is surrounded by a farm with access ramps and two terraces made by the hand of man: in one the house sits and in the other a small garden. The roof is a single water with flat tile, typical of the time and place, and the original tile of the house was preserved for re-placement on the current porch.
The walls of the house are made of dry stone, matching the original structure.
Stresses the careful work that was given to the carpentry of the ceiling, doors and windows, reproducing traditional models. Its most interesting ethnographic elements are: the structure of the typical kitchen of the fifties, with the appropriate improvement for your comfort, the artisan work of a copper bell that highlights the home environment and a curious conservation and restoration of a tea window to use it as a dining table.
