The area is also a draw for art lovers and collectors, thanks to the art galleries and auction houses located on Villanueva Street. Salamanca is also home to Spain's National Archaeological Museum and the Museo Lázaro Galdiano, a converted mansion that now displays works by luminaries such as Bosch and Goya.
The chic, convenient Goya neighborhood is a draw for its upscale shopping scene, which includes both local and international brands. Another highlight is the WiZink Center, a massive arena where you can catch a soccer game, boxing match or a concert from a touring international superstar.
