Positive: We had a lovely 3 night long weekend staying at the Chateau in Hermonville. The room was beautiful, modern and clean with a sitting area. The house itself is stunning and the photos from the Chateau don't do it justice. The spaces are grand and the garden is beautiful and huge! With a space at the end for BBQs and picnics or a terrace by the house for champagne, which the house sells by the bottle for a very reasonable price. There is also a very cosy lounge area inside the house you can use. Breakfast is really very good, and Emmanuelle cooks up eggs for you herself. Emmanuelle is very friendly and accommodating, she was kind enough to welcome us into the Jazz night that was going on at the property in the building adjacent the main house. The location is good, 10 minutes to a lovely restaurant in the town and also ten minutes to a bakery, and small supermarket shop. There are nice walks and bike rides nearby and Reims is maximum 20minutes drive from the property. Epernay is also a short drive, so it was a really good base for exploring many champagne houses and vineyards. I absolutely recommend this place and my wife and I will certainly be visiting again.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like.
