Summary: Absolutely outstanding. This has been our favorite Parador to date. We were driving, and the parking was plentiful, free, and easy (on property, across from the front door). The setting was unbelievably beautiful. The hiking in the area and the scenic views around the property are breathtaking. We also booked time at the spa, and you should absolutely do this. The outdoor hot tub, the steam rooms, and the hot/cold plunge - everything was fantastic and so relaxing! Definitely worth the 30/40 euros per person. Also, you should join the Paradors club if you haven't already - you'll get discounts on things like the spa. We had dinner at the restaurant on property, and it was one of the best meals we had in the whole month of traveling around northern Spain. Dine there! From start to finish, the experience - the whole experience - was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here without any hesitation.
