La Casona La Montañeta, divided into three small houses, is an old rural building, with the structure and characteristics of the traditional Canarian architecture of the interior of the island and the midlands. La Montañeta is situated at the entrance to the village, and is the result of the renovation of a century-old building which throughout its life had multiple uses and destinations, from drying tobacco grown in the area to the Justice of the Peace, and as a support building for the crops that its owners had in the area. The renovation was undertaken respecting the integrity of the original structure of the house in three large structural units. Solid red stone walls covered with rustic whitewash, large doors and large windows that give an extraordinary luminosity to the interiors making them extremely cosy, and a hipped roof with a teak wood structure and Canarian tile roofing. It is a unique building, the interior is divided into three independent accommodation units. Casa Rural la Montañeta I, Casa Rural la Montañeta II and Casa Rural la Montañeta III, which are accessed through a porch that is part of the two thousand square metre landscaped plot that they share. La Montañeta II has one bedroom, located in a comfortable and spacious wooden loft as a trunk.
