New: Maintenance and equipment 2023:
Between July and December 2023 some works have been carried out in the house and it has been equipped with new equipment.
In summary, the following has been done:
a) Works and maintenance works: Interior painting, sanding and varnishing of the exterior wood, felling of the palm tree, new enclosure at the access to the house and various repairs.
b) New equipment: 40 m2 awning, SPA, outdoor shower, new outdoor led lighting in colours and programmable, wood stove, new kitchenware, new towels, new bed linen, data with fibre which offers maximum speed.
This typical Canarian house from the year 1650 is located in Taganana, one of the beautiful places which are in the Anaga Rural Park. A paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Our house, situated on a very steep road with no traffic (parking possibility only in a distance of approx 100 m.). It is an ideal starting point for hikers, one of the many ways comes directly to our house along. The property was completely renovated in 2007, high-quality materials were used such as basalt rock for walls or mulberry wood for the wood paneling in the interior. The floor on the ground floor consists of handmade terracotta tiles. The ceilings are provided with thermal insulation. All fittings and electrical appliances are also of the highest quality. The leather sofas and solid wood furniture give the house an elegant and cozy atmosphere. The house has two floors. In the upper floor are two bedrooms, overlooking the green, and a shower room. On the lower floor of the dining room, the kitchen, the living room, a second shower, the third bedroom room and spacious terrace. The almost all day sunny terrace has a dining table, outside shower, spa and sunbeds that invite to enjoy the wonderful view of the natural park.
For cold days you can use the radiators which are installed in each bedroom and in the living room.
The house is fully equipped, nothing is missing. Wifi (high speed, 600Mb, ideal for remote workers, digital nomads) also available as well as Smart TV.
The idyllic village of Taganana is accessed by means of a safe mountain road and in perfect condition, with many curves and steep slopes which offer beautiful views.
The village Taganana and the Church can be reached in 5 minutes on foot from our house. There is a supermarket, several restaurants and cafes. The bus stop is only a few minutes. The impressive, black sand beaches, (specially popular for surfers), can also be reached on foot, or in about 5 minutes by car.
