Positive: The location of this property is brilliant, so close to the beach. The pool is also private. There is a wealth of knowledge left in a folder for you to get to know the area. Management were always on hand to answer queries.

Negative: unfortunately the fridge was temperamental and didn’t hold its temperature, as such we lost all our meat and dairy products at a significant expense. Informed management as this could cause severe illness, advised that it was faulty but nothing was done about it during our stay. Booking a villa with no aircon was a terrible oversight on my behalf - the accommodation needs aircon. The ceiling fans are insufficient and when I finally figured out (on day 7) that a switch on top of the ceiling fans needed to be pressed down (all switches were pointing up in all bedrooms blowing air towards the ceiling) in order to blow a breeze downwards, a thick layer of dust and dirt blew all over the bedrooms and over the bed linen. We found 2 tower fans however they were not very strong at all, so we advised management, who said they would tell the owners to replace them, however, nothing was done. in order to get much needed air into the kitchen we needed to open the back door, this left us plagued with house flies and mosquitoes. The children suffered badly with mosquito bites, despite our efforts to spray them. Had there been aircon I could have kept windows closed. The back door is in desperate need of a fly screen. I’d advise bringing a fire stick to watch tv on an evening - the British TV channels were very intermittent on the service provided by the villa. I had to contact management about the pool as it was dirty and the filtration system didn’t come on regularly. They addressed this concern and resolved it. Management were always quick to reply.
