Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The flat was spacious enough and comfortable, with plenty of room for all of us. It offered really good value for money and was fairly central, making it easy to get around Valencia. For a short stay, it provided what we needed and was overall fine for a few nights.

Negative: That said, there were quite a few downsides. There was no Wi-Fi, and although the TV turned on, it wasn’t connected to an antenna or internet, so there were no available channels. The shower didn’t have a curtain, so the bathroom floor got very wet after every use. The toilet wasn’t fixed properly to the wall, so it wobbled and made noise when used, and the flush didn’t work well — we had to fix it a few times. Being on street level, the flat also got dirty easily when coming in and out, especially as it rained during our stay, and one night it was noisy with people standing right outside the bedroom window. The neighbourhood itself felt a little run down and not the nicest part of Valencia, but it was fairly central and fine for a short visit. With a few improvements, this could be a much better place to stay.
