Positive: This property is so beautiful. Three comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, garden, bbq, pool. Amazing views, perfect location. The beach Alculfar is a 20 minute easy walk away, or a 5 minute bus ride. I did rent a car, but for those who don’t want to: you take a bus to Mahon (Mao), the stop is a 5 minute walk from the house, and costs under 3€ one way. From Mao, you can take a bus anywhere on the island. The last bus back from Mao is annoyingly early (9pm), but a taxi is easy to get and not very expensive so if you don’t want to rent a car, there is no need. If you can’t make the walk to Alculfar, you can take the Mao bus and get off at the first stop. The beach is sandy and there’s also a tiny harbour that you can lay on and snorkel from. Excellent snorkelling and beautiful swimming. There’s an excellent restaurant in Alculfar, and in S’Algar you can take breakfast in Naranjos hotel if you don’t want to make it yourself in the house. There’s a couple of small supermarkets in S’Algar that you can walk to, and for bigger shops either by bus (Saint Luis or Mao), or of course by car. The hosts are exceptional. You couldn’t ask for more helpful people.

Negative: Nothing. It was excellent. I recommend it to friends, families with children, those with limited mobility (my friend cannot walk far)- everyone.

Summary: The best place I’ve stayed in Menorca :)
