Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The two-bedroom apartment is perfect for two couples or a family. There is a spacious kitchen and a washing machine. We spent a work-related week in Lanzarote with my colleagues and enjoyed staying in this sleepy village. The house had plenty of parking spaces in front of it. Our host left a welcome gift, a nice bottle of local wine. No tourists in this corner of the island.

Negative: Every day during the week they were renovating a garage right under our window, unloading gravel, beeping bobcat, and concrete mixer starting at 8 am. I know this is not the fault of our host, but it would have been nice to warn us that a quite noisy reconstruction will be in progress during our stay. Otherwise, the town was peaceful, which made our situation even more frustrating. The village is remote, so be prepared that you'll need a vehicle if you need anything or just want to drink a coffee.
