"Villa Romantique" is a stunning and very spacious stone-built villa with a magnificent Roman arena-style colonnaded circular swimming pool, superbly located on a hilltop, giving you the most wonderful panoramic views. It basks in the sunshine and the very special light of this Provence/Languedoc region.
6 double/twin bedrooms and 5 bath/shower-rooms. "Villa Romantique" is as perfect for 2 as it is for 12 - and WITH SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNTS FOR SMALLER GROUPS. PLEASE ASK.
The optional extra 'La Petite Villa Romantique', situated in the corner of the garden with it's own little garden, accommodates an extra 3/4 people if required ( see below ) gives a total occupancy of 15/16 people if required.
* Also note: Optional extra :Please enquire if you require extra, separate accommodation at "Villa Romantique" we have now completed a total restoration of our "La Petite Villa Romantique- a self-contained cottage in the corner of the garden" which can be rented as additional accommodation for £450 to £850 per week all-inclusive (depending upon season), if required. Please note that you do NOT need to book "La Petite Villa Romantique" if you do not need it - it is optional. We do not let "La Petite Villa Romantique" separately, so if you do not wish to rent it, it will NOT be occupied by any other visitors whilst you are in residence. "La Petite Villa Romantique" is a 1-bedroomed detached single-storey house which accommodates 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. It is perfect for an older couple who may wish to have peace and quiet separate from - but very near - to the main villa, or for a romantic couple who would like total privacy; or for a family of 3 ( or possibly 4 ); or for staff who travel with the family - for instance , a nanny , chauffeur, secretary, personal assistant etc. where you need them to be nearby, but prefer them to have separate accommodation. "La Petite Villa Romantique" is tucked away in the corner of the garden of "Villa Romantique". There is a spacious living room (and the sofa converts in to a double-width sofa-bed - thus creating 2 separate sleeping rooms at night, if required) There is a dining area and a kitchen corner with 2-ring hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, cafetiere, toaster, electric kettle etc. etc. The double bedroom has a large double-width bed which can be separated to make twin beds, if preferred, and there is a spacious shower-room with shower, washbasin and WC. Our "Petite Villa Romantique" is charmingly furnished and decorated in an authentic Provencal style with beautiful tapestries adorning the walls. Both the double bedroom and the living room have double doors opening directly out on to the shaded sun-terrace and it's secluded and totally private 'Petite' garden. You are not overlooked by the villa - or by any other properties. - "La Petite Villa Romantique" is shown in the last 7 photos in the slide show.
"Villa Romantique" ( and of course " La Petite Villa Romantique" if you wish to book it as additional accommodation) are centrally located in the 'golden circle' created by beautiful Avignon, the Luberon, St Remy de Provence, Arles,, the Camargue, the Mediterranean, Montpelier, Nimes, Uzes and the Pont du Gard,, There are no fewer than 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites all within a very easy drive.
Villa Romantique was built around an old circular stone tower with windows certainly dating from 1820.
It has been renovated with immense style to provide very appealing, elegant and spacious accommodation combining old style charm and original Provencal features.
Big, electronically-controlled gates give privacy and a feeling of exclusivity, and the garden which has a high wall all around it .gives peace and security.
